Question:
Well, since there's recently been a thread on lipsticks that help make your
teeth look whiter I was wondering if anyone on alt.fashion has ever tried
anything that actually worked to whiten there teeth.
I've used the Aquafresh whitening toothpaste with some results, but the
effect never lasted for very long.
Answer:
I did the custom-made mold too about 6 months ago, and it costs me $90 for
the upper teeth(it was originally$180 but I got a deal, I would have done
all lower teeth too if I knew that I can get it half price!)
I can absolutely tell the difference since i can compare it to my lower
teeth.
As a matter of face, I stopped using it for about 3 months now, and my
teeth are getting all yellow stain again.
Yes, I've just started bleaching my teeth with the help of my dentist, and
I'm *very* pleased. It can make my teeth sensitive sometimes, but then I
just skip a night and things calm down. I can really see the difference
even in this short time.
What I've really noticed (and this has me stumped!) is that I can wear
lipstick shades I couldn't before--in particular, reds!!! So, all the red
lipsticks that I bought searching for "my perfect red"??? I'm wearing
them! The lipstickshaven't changed, so it must have been my teeth...has
anyone else had this experience??
Our (ex) Beauty Director at Nordies had hers bleached at her dentist's
office and they were sparkly white, very very attractive. I would consider
the same procedure if it was 1) truly harmless to teeth and gums and didn't
cause tooth sensitivity 2) less expensive.
I used the professional bleaching methods from my dentist. It was pretty
expensive and caused incredible tooth pain. I could only use it about every 3
days. It worked well on parts of my teeth, but mine are unfortunately stained
by tetracycline and it didn't work on that at all.
