Best at home teeth whitening?

Question:

I am considering teeth whitening at home and of course I'm concerned about choosing one that won't make my teeth sensitive. Also there are so many now..what worked for you?

Answer: I used Crest White Strips which did nothing because the stains were between my teeth, where the strips don't make contact. My dental hygienist recommended Crest Night Effects, painted on so I could put it right where I needed it. It also doesn't fall off like the strips do. I use it periodically as a maintenance type thing in between cleanings to keep staining down, and it works.

Same here. I love the Colgate paint-on whitener.. I have noticeably whiter teeth even after a single use.. I tend to just use it once a week or so as a "touchup" after my initial 2week treatment a year or two ago. The White Strips work too, but they are kind of annoying because the strips slip and slide around by the time the half hour is over. With the paint-on, I just walk around for a minute or so with my teeth bared for it to "set" and then I just rinse it out a half hour later. Works great! FWIW I have sensitive bottom-teeth anyway, and I have never noticed any product making it worse.

Crest Night Effects has worked great for me. I just finished my second box (I seem to need it about every three months due to my consumption of tea and wine). The results are very noticeable and they get the stains between teeth as well. They do make my teeth a little bit sensitive the first couple of days, but after that I get used to them and the sensitivity does not last at all once you're finished using them.
