Dr. Robert Holden at 29th and Valmont was always good and fairly reasonable.
Some of the really cheap ones just don't do a good job and will cost you more
over the long run than a good dentist like Bob.

Sorry, can't remember his name right now--it's a tough one--but there is only one dentist there.
He took over my old dentists practice (Old: David Dinsmore). I previously worked for a
dental office, as the office manager, not the one I go to but another here in Boulder. The advice
previously offered was good--cheap is not always best. Overly expensive (as the guy I worked for)
is not a guide to quality either. I highly suggest avoiding amalgam (silver fillings). Go for
resin composite (white fillings). Cost a bit more (not much), but are well worth it. Make sure
that the prices you are quoted are no more than the Delta Dental Guidelines. This is the largest
dental insurance company going and their payment schedule is used by a large number of dental
offices when they make up their prices. They do this because it is easier for them to collect their
fees from the insurance and the part paid by the patient can usually by made in payments. This way
they make 60-80% right away and only have to carry a small portion.
