I'm looking for a dentist who does good crown work for a low price. So far,
the lowest price I've been quoted is $400-410. Anyone know anyone who can do
this more cheaply?

I don't know the dollar amount, but Dr. Ziolkowski on Oakland offers a discount
if you pay the day of service.
the last person I want poking around in my mouth is the cheapest dentist I
can find... something about you get what you pay for....

I didn't proclaim to be an expert on dental crown prices or anything else for
that matter. It just seemed to me that $400 for a crown seemed rather
reasonable given the prices I've been quoted in the past.
Why would you want to go to the cheapest dentist? You get what
you pay for. The average price for a crown is around 625 for a porcelin
on metal. You can get a 400 dollar crown at Sears, but do you want a
Sears dentist? Their idea of a cleaning uses a sonic device instead of
the old fashioned pic. I can use a sonic toothbrush and get the same
results and not pay them 40 bucks or whatever it is
