I will be in Austin, TX Monday through Wednesday next week. Any flying
sites I can visit in the area? Any nearby hobby shops worth a visit? I will
be staying at the OMNI hotel while on business.

Cedar Park Hobbies up north - the best - knowledgeable people. 512-331-2943
is their number.
there are two fields. I fly at the south field. 550' x 50' paved runway. call
me at 512-964-6664. let's go fly. nothing real special in the hobby shop
scene, but some good people nonetheless.
Go on the I-35 North to exit 259 ... follow the road next to it till yah are at
a Candle factory ... ( very big sign )
at the stop sign turn right and after a minute drive you see the field !!
Say hello to Ara for me and if yah see a guy Allen say hi to him from a dutch
bloke that was there a few weeks ago ... LOL .... and send some of the Austin
weather !! its cold here in Holland .... !!
