Question:
Our dentist has just decided to go for an extended leave.....so we are
in the need for a new one. I'd
appreciate your recommendation in the Chapel Hill-Durham area.
We are looking for a good, honest, not pushy(I know...) dentist who does
most of procedures instead of
referrals, processes insurance claims(we have good insurance) and
available in need(not waiting for
a month or two for a visit).

I love my dentist--his name is Dr. George Kirkland. He is located on
55 1 block away from the intersection of 751 in Durham. Everyone
there is very helpful--and they will get you in the same day if you
are have problems, if you just need an appointment it is often 2-4
weeks--not bad in my opinion. They deal with insurance too! I just
love them. I have had a lot of work done there from general cleaning,
to fillings, a night-gaurd, and some general investigative work on a
very tricky tooth. I really like that they teach you about what they
are doing if you are interested...They are just awesome!
I recommend Dr. Speight in Durham. I was deathly scared to go, but he's very
friendly and does what he can to make the experience pleasant. They took care
of all the insurance issues as well. Ack, can't remember details, but just let
your fingers do the walking.
