Question:
Does anyone have any reference for a good dentist in the palo alto
to san jose area? I would like to find one that is experienced in
"cracked tooth syndrome", and is willing to take more than the normal
amount of time to diagnose and treat. Of course, he would probably
charge more than the normal amount. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When we used to live in california for 9 years we used Dr. Steven Marshall who
is on remington in sunnyvale. he was fabulous with adults as well as kids. i
would not recommend dr vernon adams who is a pediatric dentist in palo alto. he
never found missing teeth in my son. it was a factory. i asked them to teach my
kids theproper way to brush and floss.
They go out of their
way to have a jovial atmosphere (rock office music, headphones with a great
tape library, videos, and at least one "..did you hear about the one..."
joke per visit).
Serious dental hygiene instructions, examinations, and current dental
technology.
You can select several dentists and ask to interview them. All the
dentists we selected were happy to talk to us and answer all our
questions. In your case you can ask several dentists about the cracked
tooth syndrome and learn a lot in the process.
(Our previous dentist had come to resemble a bank more than a dentist's
office.)
