Question:
I'm looking to recieve some teeth for a science fair project. They
should be in good condition, but not polished or finished or anything
like that. Contact me @ tjmitchell2...@yahoo.com or
tailormitch...@hotmail.com. I am in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
Mailing would be great, I'm not willing to pay shipping over $1,
though. This is for a science fair project on what kind of soda is
most acidic.
Answer:
There is a problem with sharing potentially infectious material with you.
You would be better off going to your own dentist and getting him/her to
save some for you and he/she can show you how to properly handle them to
avoid infection.
You might be able to contact a local dentist and have results.
Am pretty sure that this is illegal as extracted teeth are
considered biohazardous medical waste.
Your best bet is to make some friends among the
dentists in your area.
Or just watch the 'Myth Busters' show on cola.
Yup, extracted teeth should not be seked.
So you experts are saying there are laws, rules and regs against being
a Teeth Seker from Minneapolis?
