Answer:

My granddaughter (8 yr old) drinks Gatorade to avoid her migrains... I guess ot rehydrates you quickly.

I've tried the warm oatmeal "mess" with great sucess. It's my shoulders that are my worse problems so I just mess up two hand towels covered with small plastic wastebasket bags and lie down for a bit. Really helps.

I never drink Coke or such as it has been widly known for removing rust on the bumpers of cars (in the 'old' days). It smells better than other solutions.

Nah, the "home remedy" actually calls for straight, distilled white vinegar. I know it sounds rather distasteful, and possibly harsh, but that's why the Honey is added in part due to the taste. Secondly, the Honey is added because it's naturally soothing and coats the throat, and can often be seen as an ingredient in many throat lozenges, or in other home remedies mixed with whiskey, etc........my Mom used to make us a remedy like this for tooth aches. Honey is also used in hot tea, etc...............

Getting back to the main question, yes........it really does mean real, distilled white vinegar!! Vinegar has soooo many uses, as well!! It's just as much of a 'miracle drug', so to speak, as Aspirin is because of it's natural properties.

OTH, I'm sure that a mixture of Apple Vinegar mixed with the Honey might be just as helpful!! It's worth trying, anyways!! Thanks for the idea!! I'll have to experiment with that and see how it measures up!!
