There is no such thing as an individual dental insurance, but you
should have no trouble finding an individual health policy. A quick
search of the Net for "health insurance" would yield tens of sites of
insurance companies and agents selling to the public.
You don't mention where you are, but Blue Cross of California has
an individual health insurance plan, *and* has an individual dental
plan as well (called DentalNet, and it is only about $36.00 per quarter,
at least that is what I pay).
"Dental plan" as in "dental discount plan"? That is not the same as
dental insurance as offered to groups. Under dental plan you get
"free" c leanings and you get "discounts" at specific dentists. Under
dental insurance you get partially reimbursed for dental services.
That makes a HUGE financial difference since the "discounts" under
dental plans are generally bogus, you can do just as well without a
plan.
