I moved to London from New York sometime ago, and need to find a
dentist in London. I am somewhat weary, considering the (probably
undeserved) reputation of British dentists. Anyway, does anyone have
any suggestions for a 'high end' dentist in London, preferably one
with US credentials as well.

Have you tried asking the US embassy? They might have a list of dentists
and other medical practitioners available for untrusting ex-patriots and
visitors.
High end. Do you mean like (possibly) the most expensive in
London, opposite that unknown building in Grosvenor Square?
So you do not intend to read responses, so no point giving an answer.
Go for any dentist practising in or near Harley Street in central London,
where you will find the finest medical practitioners anywhere in the
civilised world - including New York - who will satisfy even the most
paranoid Merkin.
