Answer:
Patterson(PDCO) has that new CEREC Dental Restoration system it is
marketing. My brother-in-law has two of them in his dental office @ $100k
each. The future of dental and Patterson is marketing it. CEREC allows the
dentist to make on site porcelain inlays and crowns in about 15 minutes. No
second visit to the dentist. This is huge.

procedure. Patterson is a medical supply company who markets the CEREC
system. Patterson does not OWN the system. They market it along with dental
and medical supplies. There could be a purer play for CEREC but I like the
aspect that PDCO sells other items besides CEREC.

I don't think you appreciate what this means. Lab costs for porcelain crown
is $250. and it requires the patient to come in twice. It takes aprox 2
weeks for the crown to me made at the lab and delivered. You must re-visit
the dentist to have it installed. The CREC system makes this crown from a
$15 spew of pure porcelain, color matched, in $10-15 minutes of machining
time. All on-site and all in one visit. Saves tim , saves money, is top
quality, and this sells these machines. That is why my dentist has two of
these machines. According to my brother-in-law and his partner. Both
practicing dentists. This machine is making them money. Do the math.
You obviously have cheap dental work and don't know what your talking about.
Perhaps you have your dental work done in Mexico where lab costs are about
what you state.
