Question:
How go you folks like to deliver root canal sealer (e.g. sealapex) into a
canal?
Via file, spiral filler etc? What type of sealers do you like to use?
Recently I have had trouble with the sealer setting in the canal almost
immediately.
It hasn't set on the pad on my workbench.
Answer:
Spiral filler, maximum 200 rpm. If it is damp, sealing is kept
in a warm place (in addition to the warmth from the tooth) it
may set prematurely. Or it may be old without being
outdated, wich meks it less tixotropic.
What sealer do you use?
It maybe was your prayers that eventually made it!
The story in my Dad is so weird that I might even tell it here.
Tixotrope is the ability to get soft when touched (not talking
about women!) like some huose paints, glues, and acrylics.
Whe you start manipulate them and stir they all of a sudden
bcome less set.
In this day of bonded posts and cores, I like my endodontist friends to use a
non-eugenol cement.
