Question:
I have buy a Teeth Whitening Kit (with 16% carbamide peroxide).
Now, four days ago i starting first with the Kit. I have no Gum
irritations or pain, etc. (only the first day i feel a little
irritation when i drink cold milk ...)
All fine. Also, my teeths are in good health. And i followed
the procedure exactlly ( time of whitening, amount of Gel, etc.)
But this is my question;
I notice a shine "transparency / gray" on my teeth after a few
whitening applications. But this only most, not all, at the Edges on
the teeths. Also, this effect is not on all bleached teeths.
Only, for example, on upper front teeths.
Is this normal ? Will the "gray" turning into white when i continue
with the whitener applications ?
And, why the teeths are uneven white? (the mouthpiece is from a
Dentist made) so i think it's not the problem with little Gel.
i have now first stopped the whitening process. I'm not
want "gray shine" teeths .. hehe ...
i don't find any informations about this ... ( only the standard
problems -> gum irritations, Hot/cold irritations, etc. )
Can someone help me with this question ?
Answer:
What kind of light are you viewing the tooth with? It is normal for
the edges of the front teeth (incisors) to look a little bluish at the
edge. In fact, all natural teeth have a gradation of color--usually more
yellowish at the gumline. Some ceramists even use a bluish cast at the
edge of porcelain teeth to give them a more translucent appearance.
