How does whitening toothpaste work? Is it abrasive? Does it work like a
sandpaper and therefore will damage your teeth for long term use? Does
it work like painting your wall with white paint? Does it work like
regular tooth paste but with stronger cleaning chemical formula?
Answer:
All toothpastes have some abrasives in them--otherwise there isn't much
point. I don't even think a claim of being a "whitening" toothpaste
necessarily means it is more abrasive. Mostly just marketing.
